About Me

I’m a Creative Director and visual strategy leader with over 15 years of experience shaping culturally resonant brands, editorial platforms, and experiential design at scale. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, craft, and culture—where ideas become cohesive visual systems that connect deeply with audiences.

I currently serve as Studio Lead Designer at New York Road Runners (NYRR), where I help guide the creative vision for one of the world’s largest community-based sports organizations. I lead the development of large-scale visual experiences across events, merchandise, and brand touchpoints, including culturally significant projects such as the NYC Marathon medal. My approach balances narrative depth, audience empathy, and real-world production constraints—ensuring ideas are not only compelling, but executable at scale.

Alongside my work at NYRR, I’m the Founder and Creative Director of AFROPOLiTAiN Magazine, a global media platform celebrating African and Black culture through fashion, lifestyle, and storytelling. I built the brand from the ground up, growing it into a platform that reaches over 250,000 readers and followers worldwide, while collaborating with artists, designers, and cultural leaders to spotlight African excellence and contemporary narratives.

Across editorial, brand, and experiential work, I’m known for my ability to orchestrate multidisciplinary teams, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and bring clarity to moments of creative ambiguity. My leadership style is collaborative and intentional—I believe the strongest work comes from clear systems, thoughtful direction, and respect for both people and process.
